COVID-19 Info
We’re excited to be offering in-person physiotherapy once again …but we need to continue to be cautious and follow the direction provided by the provincial health officer (PHO), the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) and WorkSafeBC.
We need to continue to prioritize social distancing, so when possible your physiotherapy appointment will be conducted virtually, unless the necessary care can only be provided in-person and cannot be deferred.
Client Safety Protocol
We have taken many steps to provide you with a clinic environment that is safe, secure and hygienic. Other than the actual treatments, we have designed your visit to be as touchless as possible. We appreciate your cooperation in following this protocol to ensure the health of everyone.
1) COVID-19 screening & consent form
We will require everyone to complete this screening and consent form in advance of arrival. The form is required by our college.
2) Arrive on time
Please arrive at our door 2 minutes before your scheduled treatment time. Please leave any unnecessary personal items (i.e. bags, purses) in your car. Please arrive alone. Practitioners will also need to finish your appointment on time in order to sanitize the room between clients.
3) Wear a face mask
To prevent any potential contamination or spread of respiratory droplets, all of our staff will be wearing masks. We will also require all patients to wear masks during their entire time at the clinic, so please bring one.
4) Sanitize your hands on entering
Please use our hand sanitizing station the moment you enter the clinic.
5) Contactless payment
In order to avoid all contact, we are asking for payment by credit card or e-transfer only. We cannot handle cash.
6) Physical distancing
To minimize the risk of the spread of the virus, please maintain a distance of at least 2 metres (6 feet) from other patients and staff at all times.
Having Symptoms?
If you have an in-person appointment, but are having symptoms of the common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease you must reschedule. Call 604-220-7709 or contact us or visit our booking site to cancel your appointment. There will be no late cancellation fee when cancelling for this reason.
Please also visit the BCCDC website for up-to-date information on self-assessment support and lab testing for COVID-19. You will find other useful COVID-19 resources by calling 8-1-1 or visiting healthlinkbc.ca. If you have a chronic health condition an informational handout can be found on the BCCDC website.
When rescheduling your appointment it must be delayed until 10 days from the onset of symptoms AND until symptoms resolve, whichever is longer.
