Andrew Flynn

While training to become a physiotherapist at UBC I suffered repeated shoulder dislocations and was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis (Ankylosing Spondylitis). For someone who’s always been active playing soccer, rock climbing and snowboarding these were tough challenges to overcome. As a physiotherapist I believe these experiences have given me a unique perspective and opportunity to help people.
I’ve worked in private practice treating people of all ages with a wide variety of conditions and injuries. I have also experience working with arthritis patients at Vancouver Coastal Health’s Mary Pack Arthritis Centre and OASIS (Osteoarthritis Service Integration System). My post masters degree training includes courses in manual therapy techniques and I am certified in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) dry needling.
I believe in empowering you with the knowledge and skills to take charge of your own health and stay active. I’ll help you understand your body and together we’ll map out a plan to accomplish your physical goals.
